Celebeth and Shearveil

Celebeth of the Voices, Kin-Killer, Corpse Warden, Gazer Upon Death's Myriad Visages

Celebeth (Sindarin, "Silver-Spear") is a 4th-level elf unknown to most men and spoken of only in whispers by elves. She fled her home after her eponymous spear was found lodged in the chest of Morgol-en-Lannaith (Sindarin, "Black Cloak of Woeful Thread"). She disappeared for several years before resurfacing to erect a tower in the Boarwood. Rumors tell of laborers hauling carts upon carts of corpses into the tower after its construction. Locals have since dubbed it the Morguespire.

Neutral Sword + 1, communicates via empathy. Desires peace between cultists of Life and Death.

First Slot (Unlocked)
Origin When Death compelled Morgol-en-Lainnaith to kill her lover, a cultist of Life, she forged this sword in secret. As soon as you equip Shearveil, you gain awareness of all of slots in this sword. This slot is already unlocked.
Gentle Repose. Creatures slain by Shearveil do not decompose. A successful raise dead or animate dead spell negates this effect. If the wielder is killed or loses possession of Shearveil any affected corpses are immediately reduced to ash.

Second Slot (Locked, manifests in Shearveil if Celebeth is slain)
Celebeth's Paranoia. Celebeth was wary of any and all she encountered, and found herself too quick to turn to violence. She collected the corpses of those she regrettably killed with the hope of someday returning them to life. Peacefully resolve 10 dungeon and/or wilderness encounters to unlock this slot.
Celebeth's Voices. The wielder can ask a corpse slain by Shearveil one question and receive one answer, within 24 hours of the corpse's death. This communication makes use of d4caltrops' Variegated Vocabularies "Speak with Dead" Vocabulary plus one use of a "question" word (Who, What, When, Where, Why, or How).
